Edwin C. Parks, Jr.
Age 83, of Canton died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in his home following an extended illness. Born December 23, 1926 in Pulaski, VA. to the late Edwin C., Sr. and Hattie (Turman) Parks. He was a Canton resident since 1954 and retired from the Timken Company after 30 years of service. Edwin was of Baptist faith and a member of the AARP. Preceded in death by his wife, Gladys R. Parks in 2006; a great grandson, Seth Jury; several brothers and sisters. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Samuel Jury of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
