Edward E. Bowles
Edward E. Bowles, age 79, of Canton, died Wednesday May 3, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born December 11, 1926 in Fairmont, WV. to the late Orville and Thelma (Prickett) Bowles. Edward was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from the Timken Co. in 1986 after 34 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Ellen E. Bowles in 1971; one sister, Priscilla Hawkins; one brother, Eddie Bowles. Survived by his beloved wife, Reba (Kinder) Bowles to whom he was married 59 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine and Daniel Vernelli, Donna and Tony Keeton; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward L. and Vonnie Bowles; seven grandchildren, Nikki (Brett) Griffith, Heather Vernelli, Brandon Bowles, Anthony Keeton (Edward's godson), Paige and Logan Bowles, Alexis Keeton; one brother, Leonard "Jack" Bowles; three sisters, Loraine Richardson, Pearl Beckman and Barbara Prunty. Funeral services will be Monday May 8, 2006 in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. at 1:00pm. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 5-8pm in the funeral home. Ed was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.
