Edna M. Oyer
Age 82, of East Canton, passed away Saturday August 20, 2016 in Country Lawn Care Center. She was born June 3, 1934 in Canton to the late Wilbur and Dorothy (Dourm) Walter. Edna was a life resident of the East Canton area and a member of the United Gospel Tabernacle. She retired from Malone College in 1992 after 14 years of service. Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Oyer in 1994; two brothers, Loyal and Clarence Walter. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Betty Oyer of East Canton, Clifford and Barb Oyer of Hartville; one daughter and son-in-law, Ladean and Tim Young Sr. of Louisville; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Naomi Walter of Minerva; friend, Gary Maynor of East Canton. Funeral services will be Tuesday August 23, 2016 at 11:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Minerva.
