Edna L. Lewis
Age 90, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday April 26, 2011 in her home. She was born March 19, 1921 in Redwine, KY to the late Everett and Mary (Adkins) Todd. Edna was a Canton area resident since 1956 and a member of Sandy Valley Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Lewis in 1998 to whom she was married 58 years; infant daughter, Lillian Joyce Lewis; grandson, Michael Leggett; two sons-in-law, Robert Keeton and Joseph "Bob" Leggett; five brothers, Lewis, Drexel, Everett, Ray and Robert Todd; one sister, Ruth Fannin. Edna was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Naomi Keeton of Canton, Loretta Leggett of East Canton, Phyllis and David Fowler of New Philadelphia; one son, John Lewis of East Canton; six grandchildren, Sherrie Greku, Allen (Melanie) Keeton, Michelle (Tim) Ware, Lori (Quinn) Stallings, Amy (Bill) Gibson, Kristen (Joe) Garrett; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Nannie Spencer of Massillon; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday April 30, 2011 at 10:00am in the Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday 5-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services on Saturday at the church (9-10am).
