Edna M. Allen
Age 92, of Louisville, passed away Saturday April 23, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 12, 1918 in Harlem Springs, Carroll County to the late J. Arthur and Nora (McCorkle) Noble. Edna was a 1938 graduate of Carrollton High School and a Louisville area resident for 67 years. She retired from HP Products in 1982, prior to which she was employed at the Louisville Root Beer Stand for Warren Boli and Dick Walker. Edna had attended the First Christian Church of Canton and Center Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and embroidery. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Russell "Rusty" Allen in 1959; one sister, Ethel Noble; two brothers, Walter and Howard A. Noble. She is survived by three daughters, Bessie Mae Anderson of St. Joseph, MO, Verda Arlene Hasch of Canton, Betty Jane Mottice of East Canton; five grandchildren, Donald R. Anderson, Clarensa (T.J.) Fee all of St. Joseph, MO, Eric (Dawn) Anderson of Stanfield, NC, Mark Hasch of Malvern, Rachelle "Rusty" Mottice of East Canton; five great-grandchildren, Eric, Hannah and Donald Anderson of Stanfield, NC, Russell and Jimmy Mottice of East Canton; three step-great-grandchildren, Dereck Fee of Arizona, Shawn and Bradley Anderson of Stanfield, NC; one great-great-granddaughter, Marley Mottice of East Canton; one sister-in-law, Susan Barabas of Carrollton; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Graveside services will be Saturday April 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
