Dwight V. Buxton
Age 74, of Canton, passed away Tuesday June 30, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born June 26, 1941 in Canton to the late Luther and Ada (McCarty) Buxton. Dwight was a 1959 graduate of Canton South High School and a member of Howenstine Christian Church. He retired from The Timken Company after 40 years of service and was a member of the National Guard. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2223, Amvets Post #124, Sons and Daughters of Herman, Massillon and the Polish American Club in Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Sue Buxton in 2008; one son, Patrick Buxton; one brother, Glenn Buxton. He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Barbara Buxton, Dale and Nancy Buxton; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Aultman Compassionate Care for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be Friday July 3, 2015 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Chris Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
