Duane R. Dourm Jr.
Age 70, of Minerva, went home to be with his Lord, unexpectedly Saturday May 25, 2013 in Aultman Hospital. He was born November 14, 1942 in Canton to Duane R. and Ruth E. (Burns) Dourm Sr. Duane was a 1960 graduate of East Canton High School and a graduate of Tri-State University in Indiana. He retired from The Timken Company in 1992 after 37 ½ years of service and retired from Canton Gear after 12 years of service. He was a faithful member of Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville where he formerly served as a Trustee. Duane deeply loved his family and was a true man of God. He is preceded in death by his father, Duane R. Dourm Sr. in 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty J. (Foltz) to whom he was married 50 years; two wonderful daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Rodney Miller of Minerva, Cindy and William Hartenstein IV of Minerva; five grandchildren, Angela and Scott Henning, Patrick Miller and his fiancé, Taylor Taff, Taylor, Madison and Alivia Hartenstein; one great- grandchild, Jayden Miller and an expected second great-grandchild in November; his mother, Ruth E. Dourm of Louisville; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Donna Dourm of Minerva. Funeral services will be Thursday May 30, 2013 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Chuck Horvath officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm and one hour before services on Thursday (9-10am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ Memorial Church at 2620 Robertsville Rd., Robertsville, OH 44670.
