Douglas P. Myers, 56, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton on April 12, 1968, he was the son of the late David J. and Sandra Sue (Lucas) Myers.
A 1986 graduate of GlenOak High School, Doug spent his career as a dedicated carpet installer for Mark’s Carpet. Known for his kindness and unwavering work ethic, he always went the extra mile for his family, friends, and customers. Doug’s generous spirit, willingness to help others, and love of rock music will leave a lasting impact on those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Heather Myers. He leaves behind his daughter, Brittanie Myers and her significant other, Corey Dunlap; his cherished granddaughter, Lily Hudgens; his siblings, Mark (Tammy) Myers and Susan Indorf; as well as nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Honoring Doug’s wishes, there will be no public services. In his memory, please consider donating to the Stark County Humane Society.
