Dorothy R. Smith, age 99, of Canton, died Wednesday morning, Nov 3, 2004 in The Pines Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born Oct. 6, 1905 in Caldwell, OH. She was a Canton area resident most of her life. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph H. Smith, in 1979; grandson, Joseph Jovingo; great-great granddaughter, Faith Roach. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn Bertram of Canton, Faye and Paul Pirolozzi of New Mexico, Vonna and Richard Presutti of Massillon; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. Private family funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2004, with Rev. Lester Stephens officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday 6-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave.
