Dot Jacoby Scaffide
Age 89, of Sandyville died Friday, February 17, 2012 in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. Born August 25, 1922 in Ellwood City, PA. to the late Stephen and Katherine (Romisher) Jacoby. She was a resident of the Sandyville area since 1948 and was formerly employed by U.S. Ceramic Tile. Dot was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Scaffide in 1998; three sisters, Katherine Salmen, Gerrie Barnes and Sarah Jacoby; two brothers, Harold and Samuel Jacoby. Survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Betty Jacoby of East Sparta; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ruthann Bosley officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00–11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
