Dorothy J. Crable Piatt
Age 89, formerly of Louisville, passed away Monday October 8, 2012 in Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, OH. She was born June 8, 1923 in Canton to the late Frank and Forest (Bair) Miller. Dorothy was a Louisville resident for 30 years, prior to which she had resided in East Canton. She retired from Tequesta Country Club in Florida. She was a member of the American Legion Post #548 Auxiliary, VFW and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Louisville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Ewing Crable; second husband, Ralph Piatt. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Charles and Barbara Crable, Gary and Kathy Crable, Linda and Kenneth Young, Joseph and Barbara Crable, Robert Crable and former daughter-in-law, Janet Crable; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Terrett; extended family, Steve and Vivian Baier and their son, Tyler; two nieces, Susan (James) DeBula, Cynthia (Eli) Clementi; one nephew, Rick (Valerie) Terrett. A graveside service will be Thursday October 11, 2012 at 2:00pm in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. There are no other public services.
