Dorothy Margaret Heid, age 77, formerly of East Canton, died Friday December 1, 2006 in Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, OH. She was born October 25, 1929 in Baird, OH. to the late William and Grace (Howlett) James. She was a 1946 graduate of Minerva High School and an East Canton resident since 1949. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church where she formerly was active with the United Methodist Women. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Heid in 1994; one grandson, Matthew Heid in 1995; one brother, William James; two sisters, Wanda McIntire and Naomi Grimes. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Sherry Heid of Azle, TX, John and Denise Heid of Milan, OH; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Mardis of Augusta, OH. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 5, 2006 at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Richard K. Thewlis officiating. Interment in Eden Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Methodist Women.
