Dorothy E. Frank
Age 92, of Canton, passed away Thursday February 6, 2014 in her, home surrounded by her, family following an extended illness. She was born June 4, 1921 in East Rochester, OH to the late Ralph and Edna (Harrell) Brenner. Dorothy retired from Timken Mercy Hospital as an LPN in coronary care in 1989 after 19 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton; she loved needle work, gardening, flowers and her faithful canine companion, Sanora. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Frank in 2008; one sister, Leona Norton; two brothers, Ray and Donald Brenner. She is survived by six children, Harry Brenner Sr., Nancy and Ken Zajac, Collin and Robin Doone, Patricia Frank, Jeffery Frank and Barbara Frank; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth McNutt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday February 10, 2014 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with her grandson, Fr. Adam Zajac as celebrant. Friends may call Sunday 2-4pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. A private family inurnment will be conducted in Calvary Cemetery.
