Dorothy P. Brunner

Age 90, of Canton passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 in the Chapel Hill Community, Canal Fulton, OH. She was born April 12, 1931 in Canton to the late Charles and Marjorie (Stuckum) Bland. Dorothy was a 1949 graduate of East Canton High School.  She was a member of the Foltz Community Center. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.  She enjoyed movies, musicals, classic crooners, country music, playing cards, cooking, baking, sewing and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Sodders and Alice “Pat” Pleasant. Dorothy is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Dale W. Brunner to whom she was married for 69 years; three daughters, Dee (Sven) Gudmundsen, Dawn (Bill) Stuart and Dru (Jim) Pachmayer; seven grandchildren, Erik and Andrew (Catlin) Gudmundsen, Kyle, Ryan (Sophie) and Kevin Stuart, Lauren and Alex Pachmayer; one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Gudmundsen; three sisters, Wanda (Bill) Kroft, Kathleen Bortz and Marjorie Corsi. A celebratory gathering of Dorothy’s life will be held at a later date.
