Doris E. Yekel
Doris E. Yekel, age 70, of Bolivar, passed away Monday May 5, 2008 in her home following an extended illness. She was born August 17, 1937 in Ronco, PA, to the late Carl F. and Hazel Mae (Bittner) Clark. Doris was a Bolivar resident for the past 20 years and owner/operator of the former A Better Service Cleaning Company for 12 years. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple for more than 50 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Yekel to whom she was married 53 years; four children and their spouses, Robert and Pam Yekel of N. Canton, David and Nadine Yekel of N. Canton, Cynthia and Tim Locke of Uniontown, Diana and Jeff Johnson of N. Canton; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean Durst of Allison, PA. Funeral services will be Friday May 9, 2008 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the funeral home.
