Doris M. Maurer
Age 91, of Magnolia died Monday, April 15, 2013 in Park Village Healthcare in Dover following an extended illness. Born July 3, 1921 in Canton, OH. to the late Edward and Marie (Shaffer) Schlub. She was a Magnolia resident since 1943. Doris was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the AARP. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Maurer in 2000 and a sister, Arlene Schneider. Doris is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Marylyn Maurer of Louisville, Arthur and Rita Maurer of Magnolia, Edward and Linda Maurer of Magnolia, Thomas Maurer of Magnolia; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Hank Bennett of Malvern; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Schlub of Canton. Funeral services will be Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Ruthann Bosley officiating. Interment in Renners Cemetery, Fresno, OH. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 pm.
