Donna Mae Bosler Marks
Age 80, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully Tuesday March 23, 2010. She was born June 13, 1929 in Gypsum, OH to the late Chester and Lucille (Truex) Newell. She was a Stark County area resident most of her life; attended Christ United Methodist Church, Louisville and was a member of Center Church of the Brethren for many years. She retired from Wal-Mart after 16 years of service where she had many special friends and was affectionately known as Mom. She was formerly employed by Scio Pottery, Molly Stark, Old King Cole, Mandrels, Kmart and the Suarez Corporation. Donna loved cooking, baking and her extensive cookbook library; attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities, traveling the country with her husband in a motor home and on their Harley. She greatly appreciated her friends in the Amish community and enjoyed quilting and rug making while spending time at the Algonquin Mill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale M. Bosler; second husband, Anthony M. Marks; an infant daughter, Deborah Bosler; two brothers, John and Robert Newell. She is survived by five children, Karen Nieschwitz, Robert Bosler, Janie (Greg) Tack, Donald (Karen) Bosler and Nancy Jo (Ronald) Roberts; grandma Wal-Mart to, Greg (Theresa) A., Eric (Rhonda), Rebecca Tack, Angie (Eric) Burkett, Valerie (Roger) McPhillen, Zach (Ginger), Chris, Jeremiah, Joeyann Bosler, Amy (Erik) Coldwell, Adam Bosler, Levi, Lucas and Brad Roberts; 12 great-grandchildren, Alex and Josh Burkett, Amanda and Katie McPhillen, Alan, Jessica and Michael Tack, Isabelle and Madeline Bosler, Bradley Roberts, Sophia and Nicholas Coldwell; one brother, Glenn Newell; three sisters, Alice (Carlisle) Barnes, Jessie McNutt and Polly Byers; special grandniece, Ruby Anne Byers; a good neighbor, Tom. Funeral services will be Saturday March 27, 2010 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hinkle officiating. Interment in Center Church Cemetery.
