Donna M. Hookway
Donna M. Hookway, age 78, of Canal Fulton, died Tuesday September 4, 2007 in the Life Care Center of Medina following an extended illness. She was born April 3, 1929 in Canton to the late Walter and Viola (Jacobsen) Hershey. Donna was a 1947 graduate of Canton Township High School and was an East Canton area resident most of her life. She was a member Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women. Donna greatly enjoyed participating in her card clubs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Brian Hookway in 1983. She is survived by her husband, Harvey R. Hookway to whom she was married 53 years; five children and their spouses, Larry and Amy Hookway of Willard, OH, Jane and Mark Bobulski of Grove City, OH, Linda Hookway of Canal Fulton, Bob and Louise Hookway of Akron, Beth and David Gromofsky of Clinton, OH; 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Gloria Hershey of Hartville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gwen and Art Kovesci of East Sparta, Judy and Cliff Silver of N. Canton, Susan and Tom Passmore of Uniontown; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday September 7, 2007 at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev.
