Donna J. Genet
Age 89, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday August 8, 2017 in Aultman Hospital. She was born October 21, 1927 in East Canton to the late Paul and Gertrude (Edwards) Baker. Donna was formerly employed by the Ford Motor Company and The Timken Company. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in East Canton, Delta Chapter #539 Eastern Star and was a life member of the ladies auxiliary VFW #3301. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Genet in 1997. She is survived by one son, Terry Genet of Englewood, FL; three grandsons, Nathan Genet, Terry Genet Jr. and Nick (Sarah) Genet; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Doris Betz and Beverly Baker (Helen Ritchey). Funeral services will be Friday August 11, 2017 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Ed Dickerhoof officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Carrollton. Friends will be received one hour before services on Friday (9-10am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 306 W.
