Donna M. Garofalo, age 85, passed away on December 27, 2024. A lifelong resident of the Stark County area, she was born in Canton on September 26, 1939, to Wendell and Mildred (Sundheimer) Smith.
Donna was an owner and operator of family-owned businesses alongside her first husband. She dedicated her time to volunteering at Aultman Hospital for 35 years, and she was a member of Mapleton United Methodist Church. Donna was also an avid member of the East Canton Civic Club.
Besides her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Hane, second husband, Albert Garofalo, and son, Robert C. Hane; brother, Donald Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Wendy (Jim) Ramsey, William (Terri) Hane; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Robby) Strock, Justin Hane, Katie (Steve) Sayre; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Abby, Novalee and Finnegan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 10:30 am - Noon at Sanders Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home with Robby Strock officiating. Donna will be laid to rest at Robertsville Cemetery.
