Donald W. Pribula,
Donald W. Pribula, age 72, of Canton, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late Michael and Anna (Kugel) Pribula. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and a 1951 graduate of East Canton High School. Donald was a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is retired from Republic Steel South Division in 1996 after 45 years of service. Member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, and more recently St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Member of the 91st Strategic Reconnaissance Wing Assoc. and the NRA. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Walter Pribula. Survived by his wife, Linda L. (Bourquin) to whom he was married 42 years; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jim and Gretchen Pribula of Dayton, OH, John Pribula of Canton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jan and Bob Lyon of Canton South, Anita Pribula of Canton South; seven grandchildren, Ross, Brittany, Megan, Kirsten, Josh, Keri, and Amanda; two brothers, David and Ron Pribula; six sisters, Lucille Marlett, Blanche Pribula, Delores Lucas, Mary Ann Bloom, Frances Prestier and Shirley Albaugh; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 am in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrant. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
