Donald E. "Buck" Irwin
Age 75, of East Canton died Friday, April 5, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born December 10, 1937 in Robertsville, Ohio to Arthur and Florence (Neidig) Irwin. He was a life resident of the East Canton area and retired from Osnaburg Local Schools. Buck was a member of Little Sandy Creek Ruritans, former volunteer with the Robertsville Fire Department and was a former East Canton Village councilman. Preceded in death by his father, Arthur Irwin. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edith E. (Ritchey) Irwin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick Irwin, Shaun and Kathy Irwin, Matthew and Christina Irwin all of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Keith Boyer of Uniontown; six grandchildren, Rose, Kyle, Holly, Amanda, Daniel and Allison; his mother, Florence Irwin of East Canton; two brothers and two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Jonathan Troyer officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Canton First Wesleyan Methodist Church.
