Donald P. Dobransky
Age 71, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Friday February 22, 2013. He was born June 8, 1941 in Canton to Paul E. and Helen E. (Almasy) Dobransky. He was a 1959 graduate of East Canton High School and had attended Malone University. Donald was formerly employed by Sugardale Provision while attending high school and college, worked for A.B. Dick Company, was employed by Diebold Inc. for 21 years until they relocated out of state and retired from Meter Devices in 2008. Donald was an active member of TVPPA and loved restoring antique tractors and equipment. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Dobransky; his beloved "fur kid", Finnus T. Fartwhistle. He is survived by his wife, Lyn (Moore) Dobransky; mother, Helen E. Dobransky; sister, Nancy Maxheimer; special friend, Ken Bittinger. Funeral services will be Sunday March 3, 2013 at 7:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Cathy Arble and Fr. Edward L. Beneleit officiating. Friends may call two hours before services on Sunday (5-7pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Stark County Humane Society.
