Donald E. Anderson

Donald E. Anderson, age 93, passed away on August 13, 2023.

He was born on February 21,1930, in Canton, Ohio, to John H. and Emma M. (Grove) Anderson.

He is a 1948 graduate from Canton South High School, a Korean Army Veteran, retired from the Timken Company after 39 years. A member of Lowell Church and Canton South AARP.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Donna M. (Nimon) Anderson whom he married April 21, 1956; daughters, Kathleen (Joe) Ennis, Karen (Brian) McCoy, Carol (Allan) Bevere; seven grandchildren, Scott, Krisha, JD (Laura), Alyssa (Luke), Courtney (Aaron), Joshua, Jason; six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl & Kenneth Anderson; sisters, Mary Fetters and Amanda Smith.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, 11:30 am in the Canton Christian Home with Chaplin Ken Muller   officiating, 2550 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 10:30am – 11:30am.

Donald will be laid to rest in Ft Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar with military honors.
