Donald G. Albaugh, age 67, of Canton, died Thursday May 5, 2005 in his home following an extended illness. Son of the late John and Henrietta Margaret (Harter) Albaugh and was a 1955 graduate of Canton South High School. He was a life resident of the Canton area, retiring from Union Optical in 2002 with 15 years of service. He was previously employed by Carnation Opitcal for many years and currently employed by MRDD. Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, North Canton. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Effinger, Arlene Westover and Helen Tschantz. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (Pribula) to whom he was married 39 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Douglas Conner of Carrollton; two sons, Don Albaugh II of Canton, Michael Albaugh of Uniontown; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; his twin brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Albaugh of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 5-7 pm.
