Don R. Ollis
Age 63, of Canton, passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 in his home. He was born January 1, 1953 in Banner Elk, NC to Jack and Virginia (Green) Ollis. Don retired from Republic Steel after 30 years of service and was a member of the American Legion Post #548, Louisville. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Ollis. Don is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (Kame) Ollis to whom he was married 44 years; two children, Don Ollis and Tonya (Henry) Boyle; four grandchildren, Cody, Collin, Henry and Greysen; his mother, Virginia Bivens; three brothers, Gary Ollis, Paul (Tracy) Carpenter and Jason Ollis; four sisters, Linda (Wayne) Tisdale, Kylelynn Keffer, Robin Newell and Jackie Ollis. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
