Dominick L. Wilgus
Age 16, of Louisville, passed away suddenly Monday August 22, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was born July 29, 1995 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Daniel L. and Carmella C. (Hesson) Wilgus. Dominick was a Louisville resident since 2002 and attended East Canton High School where he was an honor student and a member of the East Canton Basketball team. Dominick had a passion for the game of basketball and he truly enjoyed the time he spent with his friends. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Nick C. Hesson; two great-grandfathers, Harold A. Spencer and Miles Hesson; great-grandmother, Carmella Miller; great-aunt, Christine Kepner. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Carmella Wilgus; twin brothers, Devin and Daniel Wilgus II both attending Kent State University; grandparents, Judy A. Wilgus of Louisville, Craig A. Wilgus of Magnolia, Carolyn and Neil Dye of Navarre; great-grandparents, Mary M. Spencer of Louisville, Mary Hesson of Canton, Carley and Joseph Wilgus of Louisville, Robert C. and Nancy Miller of Canton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday August 26, 2011 at 11:00am in the East Canton High School with Pastor James Simone officiating. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 4-8pm in the East Canton High School and one hour before services on Friday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Canton boys' basketball program at 310 Browning St, East Canton, OH 44730.
