Strader, Dolores E.
age 78, of Navarre, passed away Tuesday February 24, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born January 19, 1931 in Canton, to the late Donald and Cora (Sponhour) Slomsky. Dolores was a life resident of the Stark County area and a 1949 graduate of McKinley High School. Dolores was formerly employed by Ohio Bell for several years. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where she was a choir member. She is survived by her husband, Charles G. Strader to whom she was married 58 years; two daughters, Dorenda K. Bracken of Louisville, Lucinda M. Silver of Massillon; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles II and Diana Strader of Malvern; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Slomsky of Canton; one sister, Marilyn Glyder of Canton. Funeral services will be Friday February 27, 2009 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Fr. Edward L. Beneleit officiating. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Friday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Clement Catholic Church at 216 E. Wooster St., Navarre, OH 44662.
