Dolores Eileen Sell
Dolores Eileen Sell, age 81, of East Canton, passed away unexpectedly Friday January 30, 2009 in Aultman Hospital. She was born December 10, 1927 in East Canton to the late Harry and Edith (Bohlen) Harter. Dolores was a life resident of East Canton and retired from Osnaburg Local Schools in 1989 after 12 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where she had served as a Sunday school teacher for 15 years, active in the Mary-Martha Circle and Mary and Joseph Sunday School class. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Myron "Gene" Sell in 2006; one sister, Dorothy Mitchell; two brothers, Edward and Donald "Pete" Harter. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patti and David Robinson of Naperville, IL; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Claudia Sell of Louisville, Timothy and Ruth Sell of Houston, TX, Daniel and Diana Sell of Woodland Hills, CA; six grandchildren, Michael, Melanie, Christopher, Daniel, Jake and Alexandra; three great grandchildren, Ian, Ella and Owen; two sisters, Pauline Blanc of East Canton and June Sturgeon of Louisville; one brother, Raymond "Punky" Harter of Ashland, OH. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff with the ICU unit at Aultman Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 3, 2009 at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor James Painting and Pastor Elaine Painting officiating.
