Deloris Mae (Tressell) Clegg
Mark 4:39 “and he arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Her mind and body are at peace, a once bold, boisterous and vocal lady has been silenced with the passing of Deloris M. Clegg on Monday August 28, 2017. She was born January 26, 1931 in North Industry, OH, the eighth child of nine, to the late Emmett Leroy and Mary Ellen (Brock) Tressell. She married Donald E. Clegg on September 23, 1950, together they raised five daughters, built a home, raised and operated a pheasant business. Deloris worked hard every day of her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, George, William “Bill”, Emmett “Bud” and Harry; three sisters, Dorothy, Lillian and Geraldine; her oldest daughter, Pauline in 2011; her husband, Donald Clegg in 2013; a son-in-law, Donald Pinkerton. Deloris is survived by four daughters, Shirley Pinkerton, Bonnie (Jerry) Elliott, Patty (Scott) Bailey and Peggy (Alan) Mugford; ten grandchildren, Jason, Jaime, David, Phillip, Seth, Samuel, Shiloh, Selena, Shaina and Silas; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Jean Simone. Funeral services will be Friday September 1, 2017 at 1:00pn in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Friends will be received one hour before services on Friday (12-1pm). Deloris will be laid to rest by her husband, Donald and daughter, Pauline at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
