Debra K. Knight
Debra K. Knight, age 50, of New Philadelphia, OH, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 in Aultman Hospial following an extended illness. She was a life resident of the Canton and New Philadelphia areas. A 1971 graduate of Canton South High School and graduated with Honors in 1975 from Georgetown College. Employed by TJ Maxx for 25 years and a member of New Philadelphia Kennel Club. Debra enjoyed providing therapy for many of the residents at the local nursing homes with her dog, Brandi. She is preceded in death by her father, Warren "Pete" Knight in 1993; and an infant sister, Karen Sue Knight. Survived by her mother, Alberta Knight of Canton; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Bob Knight of Canton, Rick and Terry Knight of Canton, Gary Knight of Massillon; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Bob Christen of Canton, Cheryl and Terry Hackathorn of Massillon, Diane Knight of Canton; eight nieces and nephews. Jesse, Carrie, Kelly, Melissa, Lisa, Danny, Richie and Gary; three great nieces, Olivia, Carrigan and Madison; a friend, Charlene Edwards of New Philadelphia. Services will be Saturday at 11 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Earl Bailey officiating. Interment in Eden Church Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 pm in the funeral home and one hour before services on Saturday (10-11am).
