Deborah K.S. Clapper
Deborah K.(Scharnagl) Clapper, age 50, of East Canton, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Camdon, NJ, on Sept. 26, 1955 and was an East Canton resident since 1992, prior to which she had also resided in Homestead, FL. Employed with Aultman hospital and was a member of Alumni and Friends of Osnaburg Local Schools and Friends of East Canton Library. She was of Catholic faith and attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, daughter and a bright star in many people's lives and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by two brothers, Jake and Thomas Scharnagl. Survived by her husband of 18 years, David L. Clapper; one daughter, Connie Kay Clapper of the home; father and mother, John and Kay Scharnagl of Grant, FL; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Rich Scharnagl, Robert and Gretchen Scharnagl all of Miami, FL, Tim and Denise Scharnagl of Homestead, FL, Andy and Denna Scharnagl of Morristown, FL; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday Jan. 10, 2006 at 11:00 am. in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 306 W. Church St., E. Canton, OH. 44730, with Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. In the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in E. Canton, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tues.(10-11am.).
