Deanna L. Stone
age 51, of Canton, Passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born January 18, 1958 in Canton, to Calvin and Mary Ann (Pyle) Davlin. Deanna was a life resident of the Canton area. Deanna was a strong willed and very independent woman with a great zest for life and her family. She was a member of the VFW Post # 3747. She is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Davlin in 1996; grandparents, Olen and Helen Davlin, Harold and Anna Pyle. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Stone; two daughters, Jennifer Williams of Canton, Gynette Tucker of Canton; her mother and step-father, Mary Ann and Gary Barrett of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Mickensey, Paige, Pery, Kim and Josh; one brother, Calvin Davlin Jr. of South Carolina; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal Joiner of Canton, Victoria Shoemaker of Canton, Bernadean Davlin and Ray Alborn of East Sparta, Mary Davlin of Canton, Anna and Tink Basham of Cambridge; special cousins, Arlene, Darlene, Helen, Dale, Bob and Gary Witts; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Internment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm.
