David W. Townsend
Age 55, of East Canton died Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following a 3 ½ year battle with cancer. Born June 3, 1956 in Canton, OH. to the late Richard and Lora (Graham) Townsend. He was a life resident of Canton and retired from the Timken Company in 2009 with 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathie (Fronsman) Townsend; one son, Deric Townsend of East Canton; one daughter, Deanna Townsend of Canton; one granddaughter, Tessa Townsend of Canton; three grand dogs; two brothers and sister-in-law, Dale and Laurie Townsend of Canton, Donald Townsend of East Canton; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn Jacobson of Canton, Darlene Anstine of East Canton, Donna and Calvin Edwards of Canton, Mary and Paul Smith of Apopka, FL; he was dearly loved by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Margie Fronsman and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. David's wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 pm at the Quarry Golf Club, 5650 Quarry Lake Dr., Canton, OH. 44730. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society- Northeast Region, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH. 44406.
