David Glenn Schaefer
Age 48, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday may 4, 2011 in Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland. He was born November 20, 1962 in Canton to Glenn A. and Shirley I. (Carl) Schaefer. He was a Cleveland area resident since 1985. David was a 1982 graduate of Louisville High School, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Walsh University in 1988 and Master of Accounting Degree from Case Western Reserve in 1992. He was currently employed by Guy's Pizza; formerly employed by Key Bank for several years and the banking industry for 15 years. He was a member of Christ Memorial Church, Robertsville and associate member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Samone Gabrail Schaefer; grandparents, Philip and Thelma Schaefer, Roy and Audrey Carl. Survived by his parents, Glenn and Shirley Schaefer of Akron; one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Calvin Sommers of N. Canton; one niece, Clarissa and Thomas Mills of Ellet. A memorial service will be Saturday May 7, 2011 at 11:00am in Cornerstone Mennonite Church, 1250 Edison St NW, Hartville, OH 44632 with Rev. Jeffery Lord officiating. Friends may call Friday 5-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ Memorial Church at P.O.
