David W. Patterson

Age 75, of East Canton, passed away Saturday November 10, 2018 in his home. He was born August 11, 1943 in Morgantown, WV to the late James Walter and Lottie Marie (Lipscomb) Patterson. David was a U.S. Army veteran and retired owner/operator of Dave’s Drywall Inc after more than 40 years. He was a member of the American Sportsman’s Club and Local 603. David is survived by his wife, Edna L. (Masters) to whom he was married 52 years; four children, Davonne Kay Patterson-Bird, David Dale Patterson, Daniel Walter (Heidi) Patterson and Della Louise (Anthony) Stefanick; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Joseph Bird, Emma, Creed and Stone Patterson, Rocco, Leo and Kylo Stefanick; one brother, James (Jane) Patterson; three sisters, Sally (Charlie) Campbell, Judy Johnston and Molly (Bob) Raines; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Thursday November 15, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Donald Ackerman III officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
