David A. Hildreth, Jr.
David A. Hildreth, Jr., age 74 of Paris, OH. died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in his home following an extended illness. Born May 26, 1933 in Freeport, OH. to the late David A. and Olga (Reynolds) Hildreth. He was a Paris resident for the past 25 years and retired from Republic Steel after 45 years of service. He was a Korean War Navy veteran and a former flight instructor. David enjoyed farming. Former member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Member of the National Rifle Assoc, ATA and was a life member and past president of the Brown Twp. Sportsman's Club. Preceded in death by one sister, Martha Henry. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Twila M. (Casebeer) Hildreth; one daughter, Karen E. Hildreth of Logan, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, David III and Phyllis Hildreth of Louisville; two step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Marge Hildreth of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Delores Williams of Bradenton, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Richard K. Thewlis officiating. Interment in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport, OH. Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm.
