David A. Harper
Age 58, of East Canton died Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Select Medical Hospital following an extended illness. Born September 16, 1956 in Canton, OH. to Edsel P. and Gae M. Harper. He was a life resident of East Canton and had worked through the CWE Program. David had participated in Special Olympics where he won many gold medals. He loved to ride motorcycles, country music, bowling and was an outgoing and friendly person. Preceded in death by his father, Edsel Harper. He is survived by his mother, Gae Harper of East Canton; one brother, Jeff Harper of Louisville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Darlene and Ronald Johnson of Minerva, Denise Harper of East Canton; several nieces and nephews; his canine companion, Sadie. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Steve Manko officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
