David J. Dick
Age 36, of Canton died Friday, September 20, 2013 in Altercare of Nobles Pond following an extended illness. Born February 9, 1977 in Canton, Ohio to David R. and Diane (Cumpston) Dick. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1996 graduate of Canton South High School. David was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ellis and Irene Dick. He is survived by his parents, David and Diane Dick of Canton; one sister and brother-in-law, Dannette and Paul Fornash of Canton; two nephews, Simon and Miles Fornash both of Canton; grandparents, James and Eldra Rae Cumpston of Canton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. David was a joy, an inspiration and a lesson in the appreciation of life not as we think it should be but as God says it will be. The family would like to thank a special aunt, Doreen and her fiancé, Earl for their faithful visits, love and support. The family would also like to thank Crossroads Hospice and the staff of Nobles Pond for their special care given to David. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at 12:00 pm in the Fellowship Baptist Church, 3741 Fohl Road SW, Canton, OH. 44706, with Pastor Thomas Shank Jr. officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call two hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
