Dale L. Knop
Dale L. Knop, age 61, of Canton, passed away Sunday September 30, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born March 1, 1946 in Canton, to the late Carl and Ila (Everitt) Knop Sr. Dale was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1964 graduate of Glenwood High School. He was formerly employed by the Bricklayers Union Local #6 and more recently served as an Independent Financial Advisor for the past 30 years. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Thomas) to whom he was married 35 years; five children and their spouses, Michael and Missy Knop of Canton, Melanie and Douglas Kilchenman of North Canton, David Knop of Canton, Daniel and Caitlin Knop of Canton, Marcie Knop of Canton; nine grandchildren, Marissa, Luke, Hannah, Ethan, Aaron, Madelyn, Eliza, Sophia and Levi; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Elinor Knop Jr. of Canton, Roger and Carole Knop of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen and George Anderson of Canton, Barbara Brooks of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you". Funeral services will be Friday October 5, 2007 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with his son-in-law, Douglas Kilchenman officiating. Interment in St. Jacob's Cemetery.
