Dale L. Buxton

Age 72, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 26, 2022. He was born August 20, 1949 in Canton to the late Luther and Ada (McCarty) Buxton. Dale was a 1967 graduate of Canton South High School and retired from the Hoover Company after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles both of North Canton, the Canton Slovak Club, Polish/American Club and the AMVETS. Dale was an avid golfer, hunter, he enjoyed gardening and classic cars. He was formerly very active with both the Canton softball and fumble ball leagues. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Dwight and Gene Buxton. Dale is survived by his wife, Nancy L. (Reynolds) to whom he was married 41 years; four stepchildren, John Ralston, Jeffrey Ralston, Cinda (Aaron) Keener and Anne (Kay Perkins) Ralston; six step-grandchildren, Erin, Rachel, Samuel, Sarah (Roland), Evan and Drew; many extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be Monday January 31, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Ed Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
