Dale B. Miller

Age 88, of Canton died Monday, October 25, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born June 2, 1933 in Canton, Ohio to the late Marling and Burdella (Wank) Miller. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Dale retired from Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in 1995 after 36 years of service. He had most recently been employed by Spring Valley Golf Course. Dale had served with the Canton Township Fire Department for many years. He was instrumental in organizing the Canton South Little League and youth tackle football programs. Dale loved golf and had organized many local golf leagues and annual outings for several organizations. Preceded in death by a brother, Russell Miller. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne (Swope) Miller; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Michael Brand; four grandchildren, Zach, Alex, Sarah and Michele Brand. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Canton Township Community Center, 210 38th Street S.E., Canton, OH 44707.
