D.Dale Garrison, age 76, of Canton, died Tuesday, July 5 in Aultman Hospital. Son of the late Aussie and Nonie(Porterfield) Garrison. He was a Canton area resident for the past 57 years, retiring from US Steel in 1982 after 35 years of service. Member of the Canton Baptist Temple and the Jolly Sixties. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita D. Garrison in 2005, and one sister, Jennell Hughes. Survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Laverne Garrison; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Oma and James Roberts, Betty and Charles Worley, all of Lebanon, TN; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Don and Roberta Jones of Newcomerstown, OH, Robert and Dorothy Jones of Mariposa, CA; one sister-in-law and her husband, Dorothy and Ellis Miller of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral home on South Cleveland Ave with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour before services Friday, 12:30-1:30 pm.
