D. Elizabeth Christen-Fleishour
D. Elizabeth Christen-Fleishour, age 85, of Canton, passed away Sunday November 18, 2007 in Heather Ridge following a brief illness. She was born March 1, 1922 in Canton, to the late Clyde and Ethel (Keller) Hague. She was a life resident on the Canton area and retired from Stern & Mann's in 1982 after 21 years of service. Elizabeth was a member of North Industry Christian Church where she was a member of the choir and the Home Builders Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald O. Christen; two sisters, Evelyn Olberding and Rebecca Lunsford; two brothers, Bert and Byron Hague. She is survived by her husband, Albert F. Fleishour to whom she was married 25 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judy Christen of Canton South; one daughter and son-in-law, Sally Jean and Don Steenrod of Canton; two grandchildren, Brian Christen of North Canton, Tricia and her husband, Darren Geschwind of Massillon; two step-sons and their spouses, Donald and Carol Fleishour of Canton, Bruce and Linnea Fleishour of Naples, FL; 6 step-grandchildren and 26 step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Jeff Franks officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday (tonight) 6-9pm.
