Cynthia A. Ecksmith
Cynthia A. Ecksmith, age 57, of Magnolia, died Friday March 24, 2006 in her home following an extended illness. She was born April 4, 1948 in Canton to the late Donald and Ruth (Wilson) Horning and was a 1966 graduate of Lincoln High School. Cynthia was a Magnolia resident for the past 19 years and was formerly employed by Michael's Arts and Crafts. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-mother, Faye Horning; grandmother, Catherine Horning. Survived by her husband, Richard P. Ecksmith to whom she was married 27 years; one sister and brother-in-law, Darlee and Timothy Yant of Massillon; two nephews and their wives, Bryan and Jen Yant, Matthew and Sara Yant all of Las Vegas, NV; one aunt and uncle, Ladonna and Oliver Coombs of Canton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Elisabeth Ecksmith of Canton; brother-in-law, Norman Ecksmith of Canton; sister-in-law and her husband, Linda and Peter Farranto of Atlanta, GA; several cousins. A private family service will be in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Herbert Garnes III officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. There are no public services scheduled. Memorial donations in Cynthia's memory may be made to Aultman Hospice at 2821 Woodlawn NW., Canton, OH 44708.
