Clifford J. “Jim” Thomas

Age 83, of Canton died Thursday, August 12, 2021 in the Gables of Canton following an extended illness. Born January 25, 1938 in Canton, Ohio to the late Jesse and Neoma (Inman) Thomas. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S. Navy veteran. Jim retired from Industrial Parts and Supply and had formerly been employed by Midstate Industrial Trucking. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Canton South AARP. Preceded in death by his wife, Grace Thomas in 2018; a son, Eric Thomas; a daughter, Terri Clendenin; a brother-in-law, Terry Brown. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Palmer, Jamie and David Taylor; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Janice Thomas, Ryan and Sarah Thomas; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Jessie Brown. Funeral services will be Monday, Aug 16, 2021 at 1:30 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Ed Barns officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
