Clifford E Griffith

Clifford E. Griffith, age 88, passed away surrounded by his family on December 14, 2023.

Cliff was born in Canton, Ohio, on November 6, 1935, to Webster and Willa (Warner) Griffith. 

Cliff was a 1954 graduate of Canton South High School.  He was co-owner and operator of W.C. Griffith and Sons for many years.  He was a member of Indian Run Christian Church.  But most of all, Cliff loved farming and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Griffith, of 68 years whom he married on April 9, 1955; children, Tamra (Walt) Nofsinger, Dennis (Brenda) Griffith, Todd (Deanna) Griffith, Dean (Becki) Griffith, Jill (Ray) VanVoorhis; 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Lucille) Griffith and Ronnie Griffith.

Cliff is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Glenn, Eugene, and Larry Griffith.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, from 6 to 8 pm at Indian Run Christian Church.  A funeral service will begin at 11 am on Friday, December 22, with a visitation one hour prior.  Pastor Terry Bailey will officiate.  Cliff will be laid to rest at Indian Run Cemetery.
