Clifford Blevins
Clifford Blevins, age 85, of Canton a loving husband, father, grandmother and brother died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born December 7, 1923 in Wheelwright, KY to the late Eli and Mary (Jenkins) Blevins. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and an Army veteran. Clifford retired from LTV Steel in 1988. Preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor A. Blevins in 1993; two brothers, Carl and Warren Blevins. Survived by one son, Alan Blevins of Canton; one daughter, Anita Lewton of East Canton; three grandchildren, Jason and Jamie Lewton, Cory Blevins; one brother, Paul Blevins of Turkeyfoot, KY. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Carolyn Nichols officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10 – 11 am.
