Clark L. Rogers
Age 80, of Canton died Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia following an extended illness. Born April 1, 1934 in Cadiz, Ohio to the late Joseph C. and Nellie (Bargar) Rogers. He was a Canton resident since 1964 and was a Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran. Clark was retired from the Carpenters Local Union #285. Preceded in death by one son, Mike Rogers; three brothers, Ivan, John and Jerry Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marlene S. (Thompson) Rogers; four children and spouses, Gary Rogers of Bucyrus, Tamara Ottena of Mineral City, Dave and Christine Rogers of Canton, Candy and Todd Vandeborne of Waynesburg; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Linda Rogers of Weirton, WV; two sisters-in-law, Gert Rogers of Cadiz and Jane Rogers of Tampa, FL. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10:30 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Randy Shafer officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
