Clarence J. Brown
Clarence J. Brown, age 87, of Alliance, died Monday April 3, 2006 in his home following an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1918 in Maximo, OH. to the late Charles and Ida (Polus) Brown. Clarence was a Canton area resident most of his life, retiring from Ziegler Tire and Supply Co. in 1989 after 35 years of service. Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Brown; two sisters, Cecilia Streblo and Dorothy Freconna. Survived by his wife, Edna L. (Fogle) Brown to whom he was married 59 years; twin children, Mary Jodon of Akron, Joseph and his wife, Martha Brown of Randolph, OH; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday April 6, 2006 at 7:30pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Joseph Peters officiating. Friends may call Thursday 6-7:30pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Torina at 6064 Orangewick Dr. S., Lewis Center, OH 43035-9064.
